When I was playing Mystique in X-Men, I remember thinking, If I’m going to be naked in paint in front of the entire world, I’m going to look like a woman. I’m going to have curves and have boobs and have a butt. Because girls are going to look at that, and if I look like a scarecrow, they are going to think, Oh, that’s normal. It’s not normal. I’m just so sick of these young girls with diets. I remember when I was 13 and it was cool to pretend to have an eating disorder because there were rumors that Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie were anorexic. I thought it was crazy. I went home and told my mom, “Nobody’s eating bread, I just had to finish everyone’s burgers”. I think it’s really important for girls to have people to look up to and feel good about themselves.

To all the ladies out there:
A) You are lovely as you are, no need to change.
B) Carbs taste good.
So be proud of the curves.

You may have already seen this, but it’s positive and simple, and I like it.
It can be really hard for people to deal with this kind of news - or with self-injury in general. It’s nice to have a friend to talk to, but not always possible. Know that relapses are not the end of the world at all - just like with quitting smoking, or eating healthier, slipups come at moments of stress or when we need comfort. Keep yourself together, try to figure out what triggered you and deal with it as best you can. After all - if you eat a cupcake when you’re on a diet, the solution is not to keep bingeing - it’s to get back on track, cut yourself a break and keep eating well. Don’t lose focus. You owe it to your wonderful self to be healthy and happy!
I get the urge to self-harm when I feel like my life is out of control, or when I’ve done something to really hurt someone. Now I try to call a friend, get out of the house, or draw. It happens almost never, but having friends who can be there just to grab a coffee or chat can be a lifesaver. If you can’t, just be kind to yourself. You can be okay.

Everyone relapses, everyone does things that are unhealthy for them & others from time to time, relapsing doesn’t mean you’re not getting better or you won’t get better, and don’t ever let anyone tell you it does.
Surrounding yourself with love is one of the best ways to learn how to love yourself, it’s how I learned, I would not be here without the people who love me unconditionally.

Relapsing in general…

If this is the same dude, or all these actors coordinated it as part of their characters, all I can say is that Disney had better give them a fucking medal or something, because these are the kinds of people we NEED in the world: people who just want smiles to appear and will help to make it happen.
